Dave is a recent graduate of DePaul University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Fitness Management and Wellness. While at DePaul, Dave gained valuable hands-on experience as a teacher’s assistant where he was responsible for developing and adapting exercise programs for about 60 students. He also took part in the human performance laboratory at Northeastern Illinois University. Throughout college Dave also served as the Athletic Coordinator for the Winnetka Park District. Dave became interested in fitness at a young age and his interest continued as participated in three high school sports at suburban Maine South high school. He enjoys football, basketball and baseball and is constantly pursuing the latest trends on sports conditioning and fitness for improving athletic performance. Dave is also currently pursuing a culinary arts degree. He hopes to combine his passion for fitness with his passion for food by becoming a personal chef and further helping clients achieve better health by preparing healthy, yet delicious meals. For his own fitness, Dave adheres to a plan of weight-lifting 3 days a week, along with 45-60 minutes of cardiovascular work everyday. Dave also enjoys training for and competing in local 10-15 K races several times a year.
